Having issues with Media Temple Grid and DV servers? Losing sales, clients, and business? It’s a depressing, nauseating feeling no doubt. Unfortunately there is not a lot that we, as customers, can do when the servers go down. To help keep your sanity, here is a list of resources for keeping an eye on things, getting in touch with (mt) support, and other tips.

Also, Media Temple has an Uptime Guarantee that you may be eligible for (assuming the server outage meets the requirements).

Remember, after you have done your due diligence in reporting a down server, the two best things you can do:

• Be patient
• Keep an eye on the server status

Also, in my experience, if things get frustrating while just sitting there feeling helpless and waiting for servers to go back up, the best thing you can do is step away from the computer and take a break. Do some other things that may need done, like check out some other web hosts, or maybe just take a nap :)
